Blog Revamped

To all my loyal readers,

I am sure you must be wondering what has happened to my blog. Well, I have found a new hobby/interest - PHOTOGRAPHY! And I've decided to revamp my blog and fully dedicate this blog solely for photography. I will be posting mostly photographs with details of the settings and lenses I used to capture the photographs, and also the places where I capture them. Well, for now, I only have one kit lens, therefore not much details on lenses at the moment.

Anyway I am still a newbie in photography, so if you have any comments/suggestions about my photographs or photography skills, do not hesitate to do so. I'm still learning and I hope to be able to be good at taking beautiful photos in future.

Got Myself a Nikon D90

Finally I got myself a DSLR! I've been postponing by purchase for a DSLR camera for a year, and I've decided not to wait for the Nikon D7000 any longer (since the price did not drop even a bit!) and got myself the D90 instead. Sorry folks, I'm a Nikon fan, not interested in Canon DSLR *bleks*.

And tadaa~ This is how my DSLR look like...

I have opened up myself to a while new world of professional photography, and there's really a lot to learn and explore and experiment...

My Little Aquarium

I have been rearing fish for more than a year already, and after so long, I now started to introduce two little prawns (yes, they are only an inch long) into my aquarium. I got this idea from looking at an aquarium when I was having dinner at a Chinese restaurant in JB during Christmas last year, and it seems that they act as scavengers. So I thought I could introduce some into my aquarium, and here there are, tadaa~ It's really really small compared with the prawns you see in the market, hehehe! Fragile little creatures they are...

I Want You Nikon D7000!!!

I have been wanting to buy a digital SLR camera for a few months already. I was eyeing on the Nikon D7000 before it was released into the market last month. I thought that if the price is reasonable, I would buy it straight away. But unfortunately, it's way out of my budget. Sigh, there goes my Nikon D7000... I'm still contemplating whether I should buy it or not, regardless of the price. The only drawback for me is the weight, 780g! It's really heavy, mind you! I'm still putting the idea on hold.

I've tried on my friend's Nikon D60 (yes, it's an older model), and I quite like the settings (or should I say, I'm quite used to Nikon's settings), so that's one of the reason why I'm looking to buy a Nikon SLR.

Meanwhile I'm surveying on other digital SLRs in the market, which is much cheaper than this one. I was thinking maybe a Canon EOS 550D. A few of my friends are using this one, and they said they're very happy with it. This Canon is cheaper than the Nikon one. But anyway, I'm still contemplating... and I wonder how long more...

I might buy it if the price drop to a few hundreds, which I doubt it will until for maybe another year??? Sigh...
